At least we are having fun training it. :) I'm using completey different terms for it that I made up though because I was having trouble remembering which term meant tight turn left and tight turn right and it was hard remembering how to pronounce cik/cap.Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05507935352484128273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-519030820892488520.post-70735301547985346532010-10-26T15:16:04.954-07:002010-10-26T15:16:04.954-07:00I think Cricket is so smart and beautifulI think Cricket is so smart and beautifulLori Vicarihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11048277367034597467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-519030820892488520.post-45385650746054539902010-10-25T11:33:21.219-07:002010-10-25T11:33:21.219-07:00Interesting concept (cik and cap). If you using forward motion and other cues which are cueing extension and then used a verbal cue to override those forward cues and ask your dog to jump tightly (with true collection) that would be be conflicting. However, if your motion and other cues are asking for collection and tight turn, then the verbal just supports that. I think I would just be very conscious of exactly "what" you were cuing when you decide to use the verbal cue for Cik/Cap. Make sure you are also cupporting with the correct use of motion. Make sense?Morgannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18185607903093272777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-519030820892488520.post-63562683487802474152010-10-25T03:19:58.236-07:002010-10-25T03:19:58.236-07:00Thanks Kathy. Her heeling video is very interesting to me, and I definitely want to get her tricks video when it is available.

I could understand her accent on the preview, so I was hoping she'd be talking in English.
